Author's Bio In 2003, Robbi Ann Packard, already a mother herself, had the amazing and joyous opportunity to become a surrogate for a gay couple. Through the journey to help them fulfill their dream of completing their family, a strong and loving friendship emerged which continues to this day. Robbi wrote Two Daddies and Me as a gift to them, as well as to all children and parents of alternative family lifestyles to show that the foundation of any family truly is love. It is with great hope that every parent who shares this book with their child will feel affirmed that it matters not the type of family that one has, but it is the love they share that makes each family special. Originally from San Diego, California, and a recent New England transplant, Robbi lives with her husband and two children in Massachusetts. Illustrator's Bio Lori Ann McElroy grew up in Santee California, a suburb 20 minutes east of downtown San Diego. She loved to draw and paint and decided to pursue art as a career. Lori Attended San Diego State University and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Art, emphasis Graphic Design. For the past ten years, she has worked as the Art Director for a large company that specializes in courtroom graphics and documents. This is Lori's first book of illustrations and hopes it to be one of many. Lori currently resides in southern California with her fiance and her chubby cat, Uther.
